Prophetic and Spiritual Warfare! A guide!!

I have read your posts and I think you both needed to understand what is called spiritual protocol

I believe this post will help as many as the Lord has called into the prophetic, and are aspiring to function also in both prophetic and spiritual warfare.

There are so many things that go along with spiritual warfare/intercession, just as there are so many things that go along with ministering and standing in the gap for a people, bringing deliverance to them through preaching and faithful discharge of God's word.

Your situation is not uncommon to what many Christians go through in this respect especially when they are involved with ministry without proper equipping.

I personally believe you have no reason being attacked if you have been properly prepared and equipped for the task you taking.

Your situation and need is that of equipping. You need to be properly equipped for the ministry you want to function in.

What most Christians do not know is that ministering in whatever capacity is beyond what we see in churches today. It is beyond being a member of a prayer warrior that we see in most churches, better still beyond individual practices as I can see in both cases.

It is not until you are properly prepared and equipped in this area or whatever areas of ministry you would like to function in that you can become a master in that area.

Come to think of it, what do you think would have happened to the Apostles if Christ had not covered them before sending them out to preach, heal and cast out demons?

I mean what do you think would have become of them if Christ had not said and I quote, “I give you power over all the power of the enemy”.

That is not anything to joke with. Remember they were still students under him at this time. Read Matthew 10.

If they had gone out without him empowering them, they would have come back to Christ with negative testimonies, and probably would have had ‘back lashes’ as you and some others are having now.

So, addressing your cases, what you both need for your ministries is empowerment.

You both need to be empowered for the ministry you want function in.

Consider the Holy Spirit requesting that Paul and Barnabas be separated unto Him for the work He has called them into.

Why do you think they were being separated? For empowerment! So they can function effectively in that they have been called into.

They will not come back again to say we had attacks. No! That is not the language of the sent and the appointed.

Remember Matthew 10, the Apostles came back to Christ to testify how they healed, and how demons bowed down to them.

This should be your testimony if you have been prepared, equipped and empowered for the work.

They should bow to you and not fight back in return.

Jesus told the Apostles wait until you are endued with power from high.

Why? Christ knew hell will fight back yet the power will provide the cover for Gods children.

The question I am putting to you both now is; are you both endued? Are you both empowered? Do you think you are both due for the work?

It will interest you to know that your back lashes are not in Christ interests.

You are not suffering for Christ. Rather you are suffering for your own lack of knowledge. For Christ does not expect you to have back lashes. He wants you to punish the enemy, beat him hands down, walks the street as a champion.

If you are not experiencing that yet, know for sure that something is still wrong with you somewhere.

Do you know that your experiences may be as a result of some things in your own very life that the enemy is taking advantage of and therefore attacking you each time you launch an attack against him.

You may never come to know this until you enter into learning. There the Lord will meet you and remake you for His purpose.

Right now, and in your present situation, I can conveniently say that both of you are yet to go through the Lord’s refining, reshaping and remodeling process.

Your entity and personality now, is not the same that is going to go into battle with the enemy. No way! There must be of surety a remaking by the master which I believe you both have not yet passed through. It is not until then you both are not battle ready for ministry.

This is exactly what learning does to you.

It breaks out of you those parts that are in you, that ought not to be, and prepares you without blemish for the task ahead.

It is not until you pass through this stage, that you can say you are battle ready.

Offensive ministry is your ministry. It requires skills. You do not learn or develop the skills just in your closet. I mean every bit of this.

You need people who are already into what you want to do, and of course are masters in the same, to tutor you. Put you through the nitty-gritty of your calling.

You are about to embark on a ministry, a journey of lifetime, of offensive against darkness, then you need to learn the secret of success in this.

Why? The reason is because there are pitfalls on the way. You therefore need to master the way as to be able to avoid the pitfalls so you do not end your precious ministry prematurely.

You can not just wake up and tell me God showed you in your dreams and therefore you are there. No! Absolute no!! You need to be tutored.

The question is; are you ready to be tutored?
